This Refund Policy explains the conditions under which refunds may be issued for the fiveshield DDoS mitigation service.

1. Billing Model

fiveshield uses a usage-based billing model. You are charged daily based on your peak concurrent player count. There are no upfront fees, long-term contracts, or commitments. Charges are processed through Stripe.

2. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered in the following cases:

  • Technical issues on our end that prevented the Service from functioning for a significant period
  • Duplicate or erroneous charges due to billing system errors
  • Service not delivered as described after account setup

3. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will generally not be issued for:

  • Normal usage charges for days when the Service was operational and your server was connected
  • Dissatisfaction with the level of DDoS protection — while we strive for the best mitigation, no service can guarantee 100% protection against all attack types
  • Account termination due to violation of the Terms of Service or Acceptable Use policy

4. Refund Process

To request a refund, please contact us through our Discord community at discord.fiveshield.co. Include your account details and the reason for your request. We will review each request on a case-by-case basis and respond within a reasonable timeframe. Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method via Stripe.
