About FIVESHIELD

FIVESHIELD is an anti-DDoS reverse proxy for FiveM and RedM servers. It is run by one person, not by a company. This page says who is behind it, where it runs and how to check what we claim.

Updated

Who runs it

FIVESHIELD is operated by an individual and is not a registered business entity. The Terms of Service say it in those words, and they are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada.

There is no sales team. Support runs on Discord, which is where the Terms ask you to contact us.

What it does

Players connect to a FIVESHIELD address instead of your server's. Traffic is filtered at layer 4 and layer 7 before it reaches your machine, and your server's real IP is not published. Your server stays with your current host: you paste one block into server.cfg and restart.

Billing is per player per day, with no subscription: from $2.25 CAD a day for up to 50 players.

Where it runs

The proxy fleet runs on OVHcloud infrastructure, in 11 locations across North America (Canada and the United States), Europe, Asia-Pacific and Oceania. You choose the location closest to your server from the dashboard.

How we handle claims

  • The guides and comparison pages show when they were last updated, and that date moves only when the content does.
  • A statement about another product is quoted from that product's own published documentation, with the day we read it, on the page that makes the comparison.
  • When a symptom is usually not a DDoS, the guide for it says so, even when that means you do not need us.
  • Uptime is a target of 99.9%, not a guarantee, and no service can promise protection against every attack type. Both are written into the Terms and the Refund Policy.
