The Problem With Fixed Monthly Plans

Most DDoS protection services charge a flat monthly fee — whether your server has 10 players or 1,000. Small communities overpay for capacity they don't use. Large servers hit limits and need expensive upgrades.

We built fiveshield differently.

How Our Pricing Works

fiveshield charges based on your daily peak concurrent player count. Every midnight (Eastern Time), we look at the highest number of players your server had that day and apply our tiered rates.

Tiered Rates (CAD)

  • 1–32 players — $0.0335/player
  • 33–128 players — $0.0330/player
  • 129–256 players — $0.0325/player
  • 257–512 players — $0.0320/player
  • 513–1024 players — $0.0315/player
  • 1025+ players — $0.0250/player

A minimum daily charge of $2.25 CAD always applies while your server is enabled — even with zero players.

Real-World Examples

Small RP server (peak 40 players):

  • Daily: ~$2.25 (minimum applies)
  • Monthly: ~$67.50

Medium community (peak 200 players):

  • Daily: ~$6.58
  • Monthly: ~$197.40

Large network (peak 800 players):

  • Daily: ~$25.66
  • Monthly: ~$769.80
